Alopecia areata is a condition where you suddenly develop small to large sized bald patches over your scalp, beard or even your eyebrows. 

This is an autoimmune condition which may in some cases resolve on it’s own, but in others may spread to involve larger areas of your scalp with newer and larger patches.

It is best to start treatment early to prevent progression of the lesions. The options are:
